NCF 2005

          State institute of education has been given the task to review the syllabus and Text books in the light of NC F- 2005 .

          Since all the govt. schools  of Chandigarh use NCERT books and follow  CBSE syllabi, SIE has been translated the books of classes I, II, III, IV, V and VI in the subject of Maths, Science, Social Science & EVS into Punjabi medium.

           NCERT also introduced SIE to distribute copies of NCF –2005 to all the schools  and colleges of education of the state of UT Chandigarh. These copies are available in the SIE and will be distributed to all the schools free of cost .
